Staking Instructions for Wallets

To participate in staking and ensure compliance with the Wallet Rewards requirements, please follow the steps below carefully.

🚨 IMPORTANT: Staking WCT is a MANDATORY requirement to be eligible for Wallet Rewards. If your wallet does not meet the staking requirement, it will not receive any rewards.

1. Access the Staking Platform

• Navigate to: WalletConnect Staking Profile
• Connect your account to proceed.

2. Minimum Staking Requirement

To be eligible for wallet rewards, you must meet the following requirement:

Non-certified wallets: minimum stakeWeight value of 5,000.00 (e.g. 20k WCT staked for 52 weeks)

:wc-icon-certified: Certified Wallets: minimum stakeWeight value of 12,500.00 (e.g. 50k WCT staked for 52 weeks)

StakeWeight Calculation:

$$ \text{StakeWeight} = \text{StakedTokens} \times \left(\frac{\text{WeeksLocked}}{209}\right) $$

• StakedTokens: The number of WCT tokens staked

• WeeksLocked: The number of weeks remaining in the lock period

• Non-certified wallets must stake 20,000.00 WCT with a minimum lock period of 52 weeks.

• :wc-icon-certified: Certified Wallets must stake 50,000.00 WCT with a minimum lock period of 52 weeks.

• StakeWeight Decay: StakeWeight decreases weekly. If you initially stake for 52 weeks, you must extend the lock period each week back to 52 weeks to maintain the minimum stakeWeight threshold (SP-min 12,500.00 / 5,000.00).

• Recommended Strategy: We strongly encourage staking for the maximum duration of 105 weeks to:

  • Avoid frequent manual extensions.
  • Benefit from a higher APY due to longer staking duration
