Step By Step

  1. Go to your nearby store or a coffee shop or a place that is selling something that you frequent to.

  2. Ask 2 questions: What is the Payment System Provider they are using? Would they want to enable compliant crypto payments?

The PSP name is usually visible at the POS device in a form of the brand name. See example → There’s many PSPs (Payment System Providers). It does not have to be Ingenico in particular.

  1. Take a picture of yourself at the place together with the POS device and / or the seller.
  2. Post the picture along with the caption on X Caption: WalletConnect Pay is wanted in [COUNTRY]. Important: Specify your actual country. Feel free to edit the copy.

Important: You are not supposed to “sell” WalletConnect or act as a BD/sales person. This is a bounty to simply learn what is the current Payment System Provider that the seller is using and relay this information to WalletConnect.

Do not attempt to discuss a WalletConnect Pay integration. Simply ask if a seller would like to have compliant crypto payments enabled in general, if they ever looked into enabling Bitcoin or USDC payments or if that is of interest. There is no need to mention WalletConnect Pay to the business owner / seller at all.
